
Scott currently serves as a director or an observer on the boards of Continuous Computing Corporation, ExteNet Systems, Inc., Wham!, Inc., and VCBC, a member organization of VC/PE finance professionals. He previously served on the board of CoreObjects Software, Inc., which was sold to Symphony Services Corporation in 2010. He is also an active member of PECFOA and the NVCA's CFO Task Force, and has presented at numerous conferences on the topics of management and administration of venture capital funds.
Prior to Palomar, Scott served for five years as the Chief Financial Officer of DynaFund Ventures, an early stage IT investor. In addition to directing the firm's entire financial affairs, Scott worked closely with the investment team to determine the appropriate strategy and vision to support all investment decisions, including pre-investment due diligence, term sheet preparation/review, alternative deal structures and post-investment portfolio company monitoring. He was also directly involved with the firm's fundraising efforts and limited partner communications.
Scott previously enjoyed several years with DreamWorks SKG and The Walt Disney Company, where he held senior management positions in finance, planning and operations. Scott began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. after earning his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from the University of California at Los Angeles.
