Palomar concentrates its efforts on start-up and early-stage information technology companies. On occasion, Palomar Ventures also participates in seed funding.

Our key areas of expertise and strategic focus are the following:

• Infrastructure software
• Networking telecom infrastructure
• Next-generation storage
• Wireless solutions
• Security initiatives

We are interested, within these broad areas, in anything from silicon to services.

Palomar Ventures does not require a minimum investment. Typical investments are $2 million to $5 million of a $5 million to $10 million first round. Because many young companies require multiple rounds of financing, Palomar Ventures also provides assistance in raising follow-on rounds of capital.
